I have been training with Bobby for about 9 months now. I have lost over 20lbs and am wearing size 29 jeans again. I still can not believe the changes in how I look and feel. I had problems with chronic neck pain and Bobby targeted the area slowly with exercise and stretches. Now instead of being a daily problem, my neck is a rare issue.
I have tried to learn how to surf in the past, taking the occasional lesson during vacations. The big problem I had was I could only go surfing for one day and then would need 2 days off to recuperate. It was hard to make any progress with that kind of schedule. One of the reasons to get back to the gym was to get in better shape so I could enjoy surfing. Bobby adjusted our sessions and improvised exercises that related extremely well to surfing. Each surf trip since working out with Bobby has gotten better and better. My balance, arm strength and endurance has dramatically improved.
Bobby just doesn’t have a list of exercises in his head that he makes you run through. He truly adapts the workouts to your personal needs and goals. Bobby seems to always get that little extra out of me thru his energy, enthusiasm and encouragement. I’ve been to the gym on my own in the past and have never gotten close to these results on my own. The workouts are always changing, keeping me on my toes and not allowing me to get bored. As a physician with a busy schedule, I am amazed how much we get accomplished in only 2 one hour sessions a week and the results I have seen.
